This course is to provide you with an understanding of the clinical aspects of carotid artery disease states, patient treatment, patient history and physical examination.

Objective: The objective of this course is to provide you with an understanding of the clinical aspects of carotid arterial disease, patient history and physical examination. In this course you will learn incidence of carotid artery disease, risk factors, disease states and cerebral ischemia, medical and surgical interventions, how to take a patient history and perform a physical examination on the vascular patient.

A 10 question exam and evaluation form completes the course.
(Grade of 70% is required to receive CME credit)
