Transcranial
Doppler Monitoring of Cerebral Vasospasm

Objective:
The objective of this course is to have you identify
the causes of and circumstances surrounding the onset of subarachnoid
hemorrhage and vasospasm (VSP), identify the clinical outcomes following
VSP based on physiologic conditions noted by the transcranial Doppler
(TCD) examination, the grade of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and the
therapies utilized, differentiate between VSP and hyperemic states, establish
basic TCD protocols for VSP monitoring and identify the physiologic signs
of VSP resolution and clinical outcomes.
A 10 question exam and evaluation form completes the course.
(Grade of 70% is required to receive CME credit)
