Case Study: One Month History of Calf Pain on Walking

Participants who successfully complete the course will be able to:

    1. Recognize the signs, symptoms and major risk factors associated with peripheral arterial disease (PAD),
    2. Understand the role of the Ankle/Brachial Index in evaluation of PAD,
    3. Evaluate the recordings of the duplex exam and recognize the pertinent findings,
    4. Understand the characteristics of normal and abnormal Doppler arterial signals, and
    5. Apply the presented criteria to evaluate the severity of arterial stenosis.
